Dr. Horváth ben érkezett a Profidentbe.
Nem érte volna be pusztán szellemi tevékenységgel, mert kézügyességét, manualitását is kamatoztatni akarta. Szintén nem érte volna be íróasztal mögött végzett munkával, mert emberekkel akart foglalkozni. Végül a fogorvoslásban talált meg mindent, ami szempont volt számára akkor, amikor élethivatását kereste. Elsőre fölvették a Semmelweis Egyetemre, de ha nem így történik, akkor sem tett volna le álmáról, kitartó és küzdő alkat.
Negyedévben egy pillanat alatt megnyerte őt a parodontológia holisztikus szemlélete, ami a fogakon túl a teljes szájüregre, sőt az egész emberre fókuszál. A komplexitáson túl hangsúlyt kap az edukáció, a prevenció – a parodontológusok nem az események után loholnak, hanem elébe mennek azoknak. Dr. Horváth élete ugyan vett egy kanyart, így először fogpótlástan (protetika) szakvizsgát tett tavaszán, de nem akar itt megállni: az endodoncia is vonzza, rendszeresen végez mikroszkópos gyökérkezeléseket, a parodontológia pedig örök szerelem marad.
